somewhere between a teardrop and a canned ham. it's only 5' tall inside. flic.kr/s/aHskhoS1EG see all my builds at: ez-toad.com
pro-lift hvac lift/cart
Переглядів 21 тис.9 років тому
using a pro-lift to lift and move a packaged unit on a roof top. great tool for hvac contractors. maximum weight: 1500lb, maximum height: 28" a little hard to move with the thick, loose gravel. rolls much easier on an asphalt or membrane surface.

this is my most recent teardrop build. to see all my builds, go to www.ez-toad.com thanks
Excellent
How is it holding up
What kind of suspension was that?
Saw some asking but did not see a reply as to ceiling height ?
👍
Nice trailer, curious if you can share the source of large aluminum skin you got it from
pretty nice one! But I wouldn`t go for that fibre insulation, it is pretty sensitive to humidity and is said to shrink then and not to go back to the original shape. Besides that, among allthe diy trailers I watched in YT - probably the nicest one and not that extreme small. Realistic use and some bad weather time spent in will not feel like in a cave.
Very nice! What did you use for exterior coating? It seems to be very bright white
nice trailer
I like your design, like your construction process, love the look of the final product, and I like your video. I love that you made that fucking thing from scratch, I think that's the coolest thing ever. Wish I knew how to weld. I wanted to weld one and someone advised me that it's hard to do. I suspect that guy just was hating on me cuz he knows how to weld and he doesn't want other people to learn quickly to do something he took years to get to but anyway I took his advice to heart a little bit. Good spot for the AC that's clever. wow small battery that's interesting. I bet you regret those blinds? They must move a lot when you're travelling. Any lessons from all this? You must have used it a little bit. I mean there are some things in this design that are not what I am looking for because my abilities don't exactly match yours (for example welding), and my needs are different from yours, and also my preference is probably just to use foam and either pmf or fiberglass, plus a few other specialty design constraints that I want, but overall I'm gonna say that's about the best simple build I've seen. Pretty cool. I like the simplicity. But it's not badly made or badly designed, it's just simple. Like that AC shows a lot of thought but the overall design is simple. Very clever, I'm really impressed by your skills and your design work, thank you.
Love that stainless steel look.
Merhaba Türkiye'deyim ve mutfak kapısı menteşesi bulamıyorum maalesef ve ne yapacağımı da bilmiyorum
Wow super nice build. I'm planning mine and yours is basically what I want. Where did you get your door and windows from? I can't seem to find a good supplier.
Cool
Wow I love the build technique . Best I've seen on here. Im going to do one myself but a toy hauler shape . Same type construction as you did here. One other idea I had was a thinner SIP panel construction technique . Would be super fast and easy and extremely easy and cheap to heat and cool . Drawback is you would have to weld up a press to make the panels if you didnt want to buy them premade .
Mine will be a bit simpler, solar panels on roof. 2 deep cycle batteries and walls will be built inside out, inside and rafters first, then insulation next full wrap with water proof heavy plastic sheeting, then put on the exterior metal
Liking everything I see! Subbed!
Not even marine plywood for base
Muito bom mesmo o seu trabalho para bens 💯👏
Hello , how you gluet aluminium to playwood , what glue ?? Thank you
Really nice work!
What was the trailer size?
Really something! Mad skills. Congrats, great build.
With today's weather, I'm pondering the idea of living in one like this in my golden years. I was thinking of buying a car transport and building one on it.
Medidas por favor
This is one of the best camper builds ever I like lots
Thank you for sharing the build. Great job. What's the weight of the trailer?
Darn nice job. Great job.
Very nice. Couple of questions. #1. What type of glue did you use to hold the aluminum to the plywood? #2. How did you apply uniform pressure to the panels to ensure that the aluminum was properly bonded to the plywood? Thanks.
I don't build anymore, but I tried every type of adhesive, nothing holds very long because of the expansion, contraction of the aluminum, clear silicon seemed to work best, what I should have been using was 3m body molding tape, but it is expensive, I just glued the aluminum with the wall laying flat and a sheet of plyboard and weights on top
Nothing can glue aluminum permanantly.
Jesus bro you must be so proud of yourself.
sweet
I like that trailer. Toilet so necessary. Well done!
Love it ! I know its been a few years. Reminds me of a well built boat. Perfectly planned and made. Love the contrast and wood. Thank you for sharing. Hope to start ours soon.
It looks like you got 64 dislikes from professional camper trailer builders! Looks Great
Great looking camper about the side I'm looking for, but I need more than 5' height. I understand you work mostly in teardrops, and your work looks fantastic.
whats the benefit of laminating the wall curves but cutting for the roof curves?
Someone finally put a bathroom in there teardrop
I dig it
Great build. What size trailer platform did you use? How tall did you make the interior? Thanks in advance.
I understand that it’s 5x10 and that’s perfect but can I ask the height in the cabin floor to ceiling?
i have only i liter 4 cylender suzuki sidekick
beautiful kindly let me know what is the weight
There's a link in the description he says. Approximately 1800 lbs
This looks like a great quality build! I saw you used a few different techniques to form the curved frames; plywood, laminated strips, and bent square tubing. Which did you prefer? If you did it again would you use 1 single technique for the whole build?
Your caravan has come up looking great this is a practical tear drop. I currently building a similar shaped retro caravan using a similar technique as your build.
Nice clean build.
How did you bend the metal on the rear hatch?
Neet job ,, no suspension on wheels ?
Tons of labor ,, great job ,
Do you still build these?
Good lookin' rig and quite functional. Nice job. -b
